Mario Nava Spa: special solutions for wire-drawing machines

Mario Nava Spa is a company operating for about sixty years in the heart of the productive Brianza and is subdivided into two main divisions. The first almost exclusively works on the metal strip drawing and the cold sheet metal forming. The consolidated experience gained in about six decades of activity has allowed it to stand out in international contexts among the leader enterprises supplying the automotive, household appliance, hydraulic and sanitary industry. These first activities are performed in the historical factory taking up 6,000 covered square meters at Bosisio Parini (Lecco), which is also the birthplace of the famous homonymous eighteenth-century poet author of “Il giorno”. But they are anyway completed by the specialization in the solutions for the world of wire-drawing machines. The company traditionally approaches this production branch with its Paganoni® division, which has its headquarters in the neighbouring municipality of Annone Brianza, where it takes up a space of 3,.000 square metres fully covered, too. Established as small workshop with prevailingly craft prerogatives, the Lecco company has conquered widespread success in global markets especially in virtue of the attention that it has always paid to innovation and technological research, with the target of constantly enhancing the qualitative level of its offer. At the same time the strategy of Nava and of Paganoni itself has always strongly focused on the evolution of their human resources and on the development of their skills. They are essentially these aspects that have contributed in the achievement by Mario Nava Spa of important awards and of the prestigious certifications UNI ISO 9001:2008; TS 16949:2009 and ISO EN 14001:2004. Today run by the general manager Daniele Nava, the company exports 90% of a turnover that last year reached the amount of 20 million Euros, deriving from the sales of its products on foreign markets and the professionalism of its current 65 employees. Concerning more in detail the activities of Paganoni brand, its specializations are essentially focused on four different aspects and technological solutions. «We can implement», said the chief executive Daniele Nava «metal-ceramic coatings with plasma processes; metal coatings with hot or cold processes. And, last but not least, we operate in the field of rare earth sintering».
