SIF MDC celebrates 25 years at the WIRE 2014 Exhibition

This year SIF MDC, founded in 1989, celebrates 25 years and will blow out the long-awaited candles at the Düsseldorf Exhibition, presenting numerous novelties to the public, thanks to the work of the Research & Development, Innovation and Lean Thinking Department, which have allowed it to implement high-quality products, with high added value and technological content, to satisfy the most exacting requests coming from the market.
Absolute novelty for WIRE 2014 are the instruments of the new family of iHV products, where “I” means innovative, intelligent, intuitive, illustrated and interactive and “HV” High Voltage. Common elements of these products are the GUI (graphic user interface), 7” touch screen with microcontroller technology, a menu for the simple use of the instrument and a whole of peripherals studied according to the application.
Besides its wide range of systems, SIF MDC will present several other novelties in the different product families: Spark Tester family – STMDC, in direct current for fast lines and the manual SPTM probe for the daily testing of performances. Besides, the Preheater family, new contactless measuring system of temperature; the Test Under Fire Condition family – Smoke density test chamber type FTC27M, fully mountable like “IKEA” model; the Mechanical Test family – Measuring system type BT0472+ALK1.6A400, according to VDE 0472-507 TEST METHOD regulations, for cables for the railway sector.
