To the Welding series belong all those machines specifically designed to produce welded parts.
Thanks to the know-how acquired by OMAS with the various welding applications over the years, a series of plants specifically designed for the production of round and shaped welded rings has been created, which from the first model presented at WIRE Dusseldorf in 1988 to the present day, has almost 300 production lines installed. The sectors particularly interested in this type of machines are automotive, construction, household appliances, agriculture and filtration. Depending on technical requirements, different welding technologies can be used, including: low frequency butt, medium frequency butt (inverter), TIG, PLASMA and MICRO PLASMA. The state of the art is now represented by the application of LASER technology, which can currently only be used for welding strip and/or flat materials with a maximum cross-section of 100 mm²; this technology is also currently applicable on all Multilsides and Bull Bending® machines.
The MEA series
The machines belonging to this series are particularly suitable for processing also shaped profiles. In addition to having all the technical characteristics of the models belonging to the Serie FSA, the Serie MEA was expressly created as a modular system and therefore particularly suitable for use where subsequent processing is required.
Thanks to their peculiarities, the models of the Serie MEA find their natural place in the automotive sector. A typical product for a MEA machine in automotive sector is the CRIMPING RING FOR SUSPENSIONS.

The Bull Bending series
With the creation of this new family of systems, OMAS once again places itself at the top in the field of cold deformation of wire and metal strip.
Each movement is generated by an electronic servo axis and dynamically managed by our new Bending + Programming® software and made easy to use thanks to our EASYPLAY HMI® operator interface software.
As well as for MEA machines, a typical product could be the CRIMPING RING FOR SUSPENSIONS, with a machine configuration up to 40 sevo axes suitable for both LASER WELDING and RESISTANCE WELDING, this production line can reach a production speed of more than 1.800 rings/hour.

FSA SERIES
The models belonging to the FSA SERIES, allow the execution of welded rings covering a wide range both as regards the section of the wire, but also and above all the diameter of the rings that can be executed reaching up to 1,600 mm in diameter. It is possible to integrate different welding technologies including standard resistance welding, medium frequency, TIG, plasma, micro plasma and with the possibility to have a pneumatic or servo-driven approach of the edges.
If necessary, all the models in the series except for the FSAB1 / 2X model, can be integrated with manipulators or anthropomorphic robots, effectively transforming the FSA into a real machining center capable of performing further processing on the product.
