Two Michigan, US-based cable companies have entered into a definitive merger agreement to create GLD Group, a, one-stop resource for networking and cabling communications products and services.
The companies are Diversified Wire & Cable, based in Sterling Heights, Michigan, a distributor and technology solutions provider and Great Lakes Wire & Cable, headquartered in Madison Heights, Michigan, a distributor and assembler of custom fibre and copper cable products.
The merged entity, to be headquartered at Madison Heights will provide:
– Full-line wire and cable product distribution
– ICT, ESS, AV/Automation, and RF system design & engineering
– Custom fibre and copper cable assemblies
– Custom cabinet design and fabrication
– Industry certification training
