U.S.-based Lloyd & Bouvier (L&B) has signed an agreement with Cortinovis Sictra, a division of Italy’s TRAFCO, Srl of Italy, to offer a range of its new equipment as well as provide parts for existing equipment in North America.
“Combining the experience and ability of Cortinovis Sictra with Trafco, we are able to offer customers a broad portfolio of products ranging from technologically advanced Sictra wire drawing machines for copper and aluminum, to state-of-the-art Cortinovis rotating equipment for stranding, cabling and armoring machines,” TRAFCO CEO Laura Loturco said in a press release.
“In recent years, our new equipment business has been gradually increasing. We were in search of a company to represent that would enhance our new equipment product line,” said L&B President Ron Reed. “This agreement between our companies offers us the best solution as both Cortinovis and Sictra are very reputable and reliable brands.” Service will be handled by Cortinovis Sictra, with assistance from L&B staff.
Customers in North America will be able to only get quality new equipment produced by Lloyd & Bouvier as well as state-of-the-art wire and cable making machinery from Cortinovis Sictra. This includes take-ups, payoffs, dancers, accumulators, cablers, extruders and other equipment produced by Lloyd & Bouvier as well as single- and double-twist cablers, drum twisters, bow cablers, rod break down and multi wire machines for copper, aluminum and alloys produced by Cortinovis Sictra.
