COMETO presents MTF20, cutting and marking machine

Cometo S.r.l. presents the innovative MTF20 to the sector market, machine designed for the cutting and marking of TIG welding rods of aluminium, bronze, stainless steel and carbon steel. The machine is suitable for various wire diameters that range from 1.2mm to 5.0m, it is supplied equipped with accessories that suit the whole range of diameters and allows marking both ends at fixed length of 1000mm or 914mm. The length of the cut part is controlled by an external encoder and it is programmable by touch-screen. The maximum production is 100 pieces/minute with 1000mm length. Among the main characteristics of the machine: the pressure of the feed rollers and encoder roller can be adjusted by means of pneumatic pressure devices, the feed rollers are coated with plastic material; the encoder roller is in hardened 63HRC steel, guides and blades are in hardened 63HRC steel (carbide guides available upon customer’s request); rapid adjustment of wire-straighteners through position indicators; the modular configuration allows a quick change of the composition of the machine; fixed jig mounted on machine board to control the length and the straightness of the cut wire. The modularity of the system allows suiting customers’ various needs, making MTF20 a custom-made machine that can satisfy end users.
